[There are two wolves inside Karen. One of them feels obligated to help out with everyone's problems. The other thinks she literally can't make a connection with people to actually save her non-metaphorical life. She has been feeding both of them for years.
It's a while before the first wolf wins today's struggle, leading Karen to search for Saki.]
She does seem to be out of sorts however, and she doesn't notice until the last minute that Karen seems to be headed for her. She wasn't even in the middle of anything, simply drifting.]
[Karen has showered, she's put on fresh clothes, and she's... well, her plan is to go hunt down Inaba and yell at her. Instead, though, she just kind of sits in the Blue Butterflies bedroom, probably looking as lost as she feels. Thinking about deaths, and way too many close calls.
Realizing Saki is there, she just kind of stares at her.]
The ones that are random chance... Those are probably the most dangerous ones. Even if there's just the ability to choose, some of us might be able to do something.
[Like Atsushi. Like Nora. Like everyone who agreed not to take a token at all.]
I still don't know if... there's anything we can do about them.
[And their lives being up to chance is just so horrifying to consider.]

Karen? Did you need something?
Re: wednesday post-minigame
[There. Start things out on a nicer note.]

Of course. I can't just stand by and watch people suffer. Besides - we all need to work together.

Do you have concerns about that last question you all had to answer?
[Nailed it.]
no subject
Well... [Um???] It's normal to be concerned about having to say any of us could be killers, isn't it?
no subject

Well, yes.]
...I'm probably from a more peaceful society than most people here. I've gotten more used to it since I got here, but...
I still don't enjoy thoughts of violence.

[concern!]

You weren't kidding about a more peaceful society.

Psychologically speaking, I'm still not sure I could handle it.
week 2 post-game
Realizing Saki is there, she just kind of stares at her.]

Saki will move to sit next to her, putting an arm around her, rubbing at her back.]
Hey, Karen...
no subject
[Karen's arms find their way around her, somehow.]
I was... I...
no subject
[She'll tug Karen closer - she's free to lean against Saki if she needs to.]
Even now... It's hard to believe so much happened...
[There's two more people they'll never see around the House again. And there's still so much more to go.]
no subject
I couldn't do anything. There was nothing I could do to change what happened.
no subject
...Mm. It was all I could do to save myself. We were... powerless.
[And she hates it.]
no subject
I couldn't even do that much. When my turn came, all I could do was see what happened with the dice.
